Classical Music Helps Depression

scientific american mindThe April/May issue of Scientific American Mind Magazine suggests that “Classical Music may lift depressed patients’ spirits.”

I will not go into the specifics of how they can even begin to test all this but I think it is true…for me anyways. Any time I feel down I am grabbing at some music. It’s almost like an addiction at times.

I’m not sure exactly how or even why it works but soothing piano music never ceases to relax me while helping me focus and concentrate all at once.

What about you? What do you think?
